Kansas and Villanova will play the first game of the Final 4 in New Orleans this Saturday it is scheduled to tip at 6:09pm. Kansas should have the advantage especially now that it was just announced that Villanova guard Justin Moore suffered a torn achilles tendon in last nights win over Houston.

Losing Justin Moore hurts. If he was healthy, Id maybe pick Nova. But his injury will be too tough to overcome. Jay Wright has been impressive in recent years.

Agree with everything said here.  I think Nova hangs with Kansas most of the way, but the Jayhawks pull away in the final 5 minutes to win by 9.

Everyone believes that with Moore out Nova doesn’t stand a chance. That may be true on paper, but with this being such a huge game, I think Nova will adjust, and adapt, and with a ‘next man up” ethos

Without Justin Moore, I'm going Jayhawks.  Especially if they play like they did in the 2nd half today.

Nova pulls this one out by one point, 67-66

Kansas. Nova had a chance to win until their guard was injured. I think Kansas wins this one by 10+.

Nova has a chance to hang around given their style of play and the guy running the program. But I can’t give them much of a shot against KU without Moire in the lineup.  They barely beat a team that shot 1-20 from distance.

KU 66

Nova 52

Everyone believes that with Moore out Nova doesn’t stand a chance. That may be true on paper, but with this being such a huge game, I think Nova will adjust, and adapt, and with a ‘next man up” ethos they will compete in a super close game all the way.

Against Miami U, Kansas went 13-26 from the line, and against Houston, Nova went 15-15 from the line. Good ‘D’ and making your FT’s wins games. This game will come down to the wire, but Nova will prevail with stellar FT shooting in the end, and throughout.

Kansas dominating early on especially on the defensive end and are leading 10-2 at the first media timeout.

Kansas is still shooting well (60%) and lead 19-8 at the under 12 timeout.

Timeout Villanova with just under 10 minuets left in the first half. This one is starting to get out of hand with the Jayhawks leading 26-11.

I see the Kansas team that played in the second half against Miami is in the building.
