He knew he had a star, he bet on the fact he would make a deep enough run to save him.  I hope we actually get to see him.

Toppin for sure.  I thought Mintz looked bad defensively.  

But your overall point of clinging to Grady and Brooks is valid.

The sad part is I think Saint Peters comes back down to earth in the next game, and struggles shooting like most of the year. I wouldn’t be surprised to see them lose by double digits in the next game.

I give him a pass more than he probably deserves.  But if they beat Wisconsin in 2015 or if UNC calls a timeout instead of letting their team play and Luke Maye hits his shot in 2017 (I think...the year with Fox and Bam)...we aren't having these conversations.

I'm still not ready to fire Calipari, but let's be real, when would I ever.

I hate being this kind of fan, but I couldn't care less what happens the rest of this tournament.

I hate it more than anything for Oscar.  I love that kid.  The lone bright spot of this season. 

Oscar is one of my favorite Cats ever. To see his emotion after the game speaks a lot to me about his character. Great game again by an amazing young man. I feel bad for all the kids, especially him. The St Peters’ players were much calmer in the clutch, a direct reflection of their coach. I loved his comment after the game when he was asked if he was nervous during the game. He replied “About what?” I guess I’m a Racer fan the rest of the way.

Guys, let’s be honest, the main reason Cal got this job (and he said it in his introductory press conference), was he could recruit the best of the best, that obviously has been dried up for awhile and he’s not a good enough coach to make up for that!

Let’s not forget about the 2019 team that was a true title threat that didn’t get to play in the post season.  However, these last two years is not good or acceptable for UK, and needs to make a deep run next year. Or else it really may be best for both parties to move on.

I honestly believe his best years are behind him.  There's no excuse for the worst tournament loss in school history and the worst regular season last year.

That said, I don't know where you turn.

First half Cal was euphoric.  What goes up must come down.  I still love Cal but he’s closer to Tubby, than Cal right now. It’s been tough to swallow.

I can honestly say I am not all that disappointed because I had low expectations. I didn't think this team was anywhere as good as people were saying. The one thing that got my expectations up a little was the draw UK had. Still, I  thought they could lose on any given night. I definitely didn't expect it to be this one though.
