I agree they were looking really good at that time. I do think injuries after that kind of messed up their rhythm they had at that moment, and haven’t looked like that since then. Good news is now, they have had about 5 or so games playing together again and do look healthy. So hopefully they can find that rhythm again for the next 6 games.

Go back to the pressers from several years back and listen to Cal downplay the conference tourney’s and say they shouldn’t even happen, this should bring clarification.

The last two were both very cheap calls in a physically played game. I will have to look back closely at the other three. The last foul was a flop. The UT defender even hooked Oscar's arm which is supposed to be a point of emphasis.

The answer to the question I asked is Yes.

Calipari has more SEC Tournament Championships than any other SEC school, not named Alabama. Pretty impressive but I know that's not something you'd want to acknowledge.

P.S. I know the presser you're referring to, but it doesn't change the answer to the question. Also think Cal is very calculated with what he says to the media but hang your hat on that, I will hang my hat on the fact that Calipari only trails UK and Alabama in SEC Tournament Championships.

Instead of watching pressers from years past. You may have wanted to watch a presser from this year before your comment. Since Cal even said before the tournament this year, that they were using the tournament to try to improve their seed. So you basically just completely ignored what he said this year to fit your normal agenda.

So let’s just downplay the conference tourney for years and then just change abruptly and try to tell your players something different you have been against for years, doesn’t look like his players responded very well did they.

They were yesterday, for sure.

The difference in the Kentucky team that blew Tennessee, North Carolina and Kansas off the planet earlier in the year is they made shots in those games. Yesterday’s 2/20 from 3 isn’t going to cut it in March. That will send them home early with plenty of time on their hands to enjoy the rest of the tournament on their flatscreens.

They missed shots. A lot of shots. But you can't say that weren't playing hard and battling. Hell, they fought back and were down 3 with one minute to go.

Sure seemed like the players and Cal on the sidelines cared quite a bit.

They were just dreadful shooting and the NPOY got himself in foul trouble and missed a ton of the first half. 

Implying they didnt care seems pretty disingenuous.

Well, it’s wrong, that’s for sure. This year UK was trying to establish some mojo going into the tournament.

The transfer portal has been given credit for this year’s wins, so only fair they get the blamed in a loss.

Coming from the guy who got upset when people were putting down refs, and you talked about how hard they work and experience they have compared to the people complaining. Yet you try to find any way to complain about a Hall of Fame coach, who has won a National title, been to two other title games, multiple final fours with 3 different schools. Multiple SEC regular season and tournament titles. Yet you literally always go out of your way to complain about him. You may want to take you own advice you have people on refs, in regards to coaching. Considering he knows much more and done much more than you or I ever will do as a coach.
