Final from Tampa. The Vols will take on A&M in the finals tomorrow at 1:00. The sad thing about this is that ESPN's Joe Lanardi said if the Cats would have won today's game they would have took Baylor's place as a #1 seed. We will just take our #2 seed and see what we can do next 3 weeks.

Tennessee is just better. 

Well hopefully that got that bad shooting game out of their system. Now all that matters is trying to get it right to win six games in a row now. 

Shades of West Virginia trying to hit a 3.  Barnes is now 10-7 vs. Cal.  

Legit may have 3 SEC teams as two seeds in the big dance.

He has done well against Cal. Kind of like how Cal usually beat Pitino. Barnes has definitely had the edge on Cal. 

Oscar didn’t seem to respond well to the physicality of UT today.

Agreed, if he realizes he isn’t the strongest or most physical guy on the court it seems to effect him.

In his defense, UT had several dudes to throw at him, but you’re right. He wasn’t physically superior to them today and he played that way.

I don’t know if I agree they’re out and out better, but I do believe they are a matchup issue for Kentucky.

Probably right. UK can’t just dominate them inside, and UT’s backcourt can clearly hang with UK’s.

We definitely know that Kentucky can’t beat them shooting the way they did. 2/20 from three isn’t going to beat many teams. You can win hitting only two threes, but when you still fire up 20 attempts you’ve got issues. Even slightly better shooting could have easily turned the tide. 
 

I honestly cannot believe what has happened to Grady. 

Well, Cal’s team took his lead on post season conference tourney’s meaning nothing, they went to Tampa and stunk up the court, bad news because could have advanced to a #1 seed, maybe Cal should change his attitude on conference tournaments.
