You realize hiring a HS Coach is like closing a Mortgage there is a 3 day rescission period after taking a job, so keep your fingers crossed....  lol

John Hodge could be a good pickup but I’m not sure if he’s interested in coaching anymore. Don’t forget his brother Brian who’s a current coach in Illinois as well.

I’m really sad about this, all though we all knew and had speculation I was really hoping it wasn’t true.. fantastic hire for Garrard County. Lincoln should have some good bites on their job as that program is headed in the right direction, they have a really good 8th grade class coming in next season, in 2 years they will be in a great position with the right coach and staff.

This will be Lincoln's 6th Head Coach since 2000. Whoever the hire is (If Crutchfield is really out) they need to make sure it's a guy prepared to build a program and stay with them. They may be down a year or two but they will always have potential. 

Is Garrard a better job/situation than Lincoln?

It sucks but at the end of the day we all knew in the back of our heads it was possible. He done great things here and we can’t think him enough. Garrard may have won this but they will not like playing us from here on out.

It will be next season and probably the year after, but I can't see it being that way long-term. Crutchfield will do a great job, as he did with Lincoln! Garrard will be very consistent.

Problem is we need to hire a Lincoln guy that is 100 percent Lincoln county.
