Was disappointed no mention of the Garrard Co. opening during the Army-Navy game yesterday. CBS Sports... not what it used to be.

We should start hearing more concrete info after tomorrow I would imagine. Job posting closes tomorrow. 

Who would you all consider a "finalist" if you had to guess? Stonebreaker, Tyler Ray, and Jaggers are out, from what I understand.

How do you know all 3 of these are out? Have you talked to them personally? In my opinion I’m not sure any one has been contacted yet, do I think the administration might know what direction they might want to go in? Sure maybe, if what everyone is hearing is actually true, but if this thread tells us anything it’s too take everything we hear with a grain of salt. How do we know any of those 3 have even applied for the job? Either way this has been a CRAZY job search, and one I never thought would garner this much attention lol.

I would guess this week, but would be a total guess.

If the timeline is when the BGPreps thread hits 50 pages, should expect an announcement around Noon today.

What are you hearing? Is the Huge hire mentioned in this thread? I’ve heard of several assistants that have applied and could possibly have a former head coach as an assistant.

Yeah they are both on the list, I think your on the right track ? but who knows ?‍♂️

Not sure why everyone is trying to keep it a secret now and won’t reveal any names. The whole 23 page thread is nothing but people throwing names out there and speculating on what they think they know. 

We could be on a new thread discussing a different job being available if what I hear is true. I also think that we get the announcement either way this week, sooner than later. Again, the names I mentioned earlier are what I would consider "out of the running" but this hire would be a big hire for Garrard. I'm not speculating, It's just not my place to make the formal announcement.

Who’s this big hire? Because I haven’t heard any names besides Hester.

Why even say that you know something if you aren't going to share? To me that screams that you don't know anything. 

 

I will give you what I do know 100% and that is Tyler Ray is for sure out. Can't speak on the other two that someone said were out but I know about Tyler for sure.
