If so, let’s hope the play is more inspired.

It wouldn't take much.

You may be right. However, so many people completely misunderstand exactly how good someone must be to truly be a D1 talent. A player can be a great high school player and still not be close to a D1 p

Would set up Highlands and Covcath in round one. Remember Conner beat Highlands already.

Yes, I forgot about the Highlands loss to Conner. Highlands has little to no chance against Cooper, but let’s say they upset Cooper, what does that do to the standings?

That game set football back 40 years!!!

CCH will most probably win the district, which would set up Cooper vs Highlands in round 1.

Who knows. CovCath could lose to Conner and Highlands could beat  Cooper next week. Then what would seeding look like??? I know Boone County is out. Pick a name out of a hat for who wants to win this district title come playoff time.

I see no reason why Highlands can't be Cooper but either way I am interested in how the district breaks down too.

I guess Highlands has a shot against Cooper, but what I saw tonight was bad football from both teams. For a big rivalry game, it was certainly lacking emotion and excitement.

Oh, he was.

That's Henry King with the white cleats...and the white cap and another official standing and looking at him while he kneels and grabs the football. He's the one who had the "touchdown" for Highlands in the 3Q.

But realistically, Highlands would have had Noon run a keeper in for the touchdown on the next play. He did that the entire second half.

This is two frames later, as King is more visibly pushing himself up off his knees to put the ball into the endzone.

@futurecoach and I definitely disagree with that. Especially after the Bluebird Mafia said no way in the world could Coach Borchers handle the job in Ft. Thomas.

It depends on which Highlands team shows up.

Which team do you think will show up? The Jags have this one circled on the calendar.

Didn't Cooper get after the Birds pretty good last year?

The good one.

Would be a three way tie and would come down to RPI. Which I believe Cooper would be in good shape for the 2 seed with that, and I think Conner was ahead of Highlands in the RPI too.

These are high school refs not making 6 figures like NFL. They probably don’t care too much about a few botched calls. They probably just wanted to see a team score. It was the most boring game ever.

The white hat was Matt Young, probably the top official in NKY.
