16thBBall Fan Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 Final it wasn't pretty but hey its a win.
DragonFire Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 A remarkably stressful game given that they never trailed and were only tied once. But as 16th says, a win is a win.
sportsfan41 Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 Good thing Kentucky came out to a 25-8 lead early in the game. That lead proved to be crucial. Also, GREAT free-throw shooting by UK.
futurecoach Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 Well this team is still learning how to win. Which being able to make free throws at the end, is a part of learning how to win. I know they haven’t been in this spot much, but now have to learn how to put someone away when you get that big lead. With that said they are improving. Need to keep improving though to give themselves a shot in the SEC tournament.
mcpapa Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 Something like 24/25 from the line. Impressive. 2

Voice of Reason Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 I would like to say incremental improvement, but I can't. That was about as ugly as a win can get. 1
Tomcats1990 Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 Glad for the W. The refs are pretty bad especially SEC officials. That Dunk by Brooks should never be a charge. Guy moved underneath him while he was giving his best Jordan impersonation. Allen’s Uncle not to excited.

Okay, I guess you're correct, they only beat Vandy by 3 on Jan. 5th and got them by 4 tonight. 1
Voice of Reason Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 The worst missed call was the double dribble.

Tomcats1990 Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 Dunk of the year doesn’t count. Refs taking the excitement out of the game. IMG_1055.MOV 1

His nephew isn't all that good in his collegiate career so far. He had one awesome game that "went viral" but that doesn't mean much if you have the defincicies that he has. He can be and hopefully will be a solid collegiate player one day. Hopefully that comes to fruition at UK. 1 1
