OSU threads are long because you and Grant fan the flames. I get it, I did it for years with Louisville. It's hard to stop doing it, to be completely honest. If you and Grant didn't, most OSU threads would have as much traffic as any other.

They only played 5 games. Yes. They didn't meet the criteria. Either rules apply or they don't.  Doesn't seem rules matter. Maybe the Big 10 should have started when the other teams did and people would look at them in the light they are.

But was the rule fair is my point? You seem to agree that the rule was unfair, correct. So why should we leave unfair rules in place for the sake of it being a rule? Isn’t changing an unfair rule the right thing to do? Why aren’t you applauding it? Also you never answered my question about the ACC cancelled games to protect Clemson and ND? That’s way more egregious than anything the B1G did. Miami still had a chance to make the conference championship game with a ND or Clemson loss. Talk about absurd rule changes...

I think the point RTS is making is if the possibility of the rule being changed is available, why even make the rule? Obviously OSU deserves to be in the game. The issue is that a rule was created specifically for this season, and when the rule didn't give the outcome the B1G was hoping for (an undisputed team with 6 games under their belt), they changed the rule to fit their agenda. I think the issue is much more with the B1G for most than it is with OSU. For those who have more of an issue with OSU than the B1G, I will agree with you and JA that they are haters. For the rest of us, we are just calling out the stupidity (which in fairness you have done as well) of the B1G.

Meyer the biggest villain on here is gone but we’re still hated, maybe Meyer was just a prop?

We have a few tremendous OSU supporters on here that keep conversations going and love to debate and post counts go up. That said, if we were to take a poll of every BGP member ranking most liked/disliked college football teams - set aside the amount of traffic a thread receives - UL, UK, and Notre Dame would lap the field.

Thank you Tones.  My problem is they changed the rule the basically made a few weeks ago.

I disagree post Bobby and Rick, nobody really talks about UL.  There was a time though!  
 
Nobody really hates ND, they’re just overrated constantly but we’re all Rudy fans at heart.

I just think RTS doesn’t have this stance if the roles were reversed and it was Indiana that was benefitting. He’s still silent on his Golden Domers benefitting from a similar situation in the ACC. So it doesn’t appear like he cares about the rules being broken or fairness. He wants to see what’s best for his team and wants to see everything go wrong for OSU. Which is totally cool with me. I have teams I hate. I want everything possible to go wrong for Michigan, Clemson, and Alabama. But I’m upfront about that. I don’t care about fairness when it comes to them. I just wish RTS would admit that he doesn’t care what’s fair with OSU. This is what makes college football great. Admit your biases people. Imagine what will happen when Meyer takes the ND job in 5-10 years.  That will be a HOF thread.

I don’t think Urban ever coaches CFB again. Nothing in it for him IMO.

ND is the only draw for him.  He’s unlikely to coach unless he pulls a Mack Brown.

He did seriously consider the Texas job. Obviously he turned it down, but there was definitely interest from both sides. Urban’s going to coach again somewhere, but I don’t think Shelley will sign off on another college gig. I think he’ll try the NFL one day.

He’s gonna want to get his son into the industry.  I guess he doesn’t need to take a job to do that though.
