Does this mean that maybe Ohio State/The Big 10 may be out of the playoffs if they don't make some changes?

They saw that OSU -30 line in Vegas and that sealed it.  OSU will try to find a replacement, @Walter tell Luke to give us a call...

There's no question that the Big 10 will quickly change the rules because Ohio State is their only chance of getting a team into the playoffs.

Will still go to playoffs but could be out of the B1G game.  OSU will likely find a replacement to get another game in.  Or Kevin Warren who completely botched the season will have to adjust for his shortcomings and alter the rule.

B1G has a rule that, with this game being canceled, makes OSU ineligible for the title game because they don't have enough games. I'd imagine the B1G will be changing that rule in short order. 

OSU doesn't need that title game to get into the CFP, IMO.

If things play out Championship weekend like I expect them to basically Alabama handles their business against Florida. I agree it won’t matter. If somehow Florida wins a close game to Bama there would be at least somewhat of a southern drift that I would not want to put the committee at the mercy of having to potentially make the wrong decision.

Essentially no, aside from letting the seniors play again.

I like your thought process, we should really aim for A&M, or UC, but the B1G wouldn’t allow it.
