Somerset at Washington County - Canceled

The Jumpers showed great resolve to battle back from a two touchdown deficit against LCA in Week 6, but ultimately fell to the Eagles by a score. Kaiya Sheron got banged up a little and threw three interceptions. The loss has cost Somerset the top ranking in 2A, but the competitive nature of the contest reaffirms the belief that the two teams are 1 and 1A in this class.

Somerset (5-1) will attempt to rebound against a Washington County (2-3) squad that had its game against Danville cancelled last week and, as of now, this is the Commanders' regular season finale. Whether or not Sheron plays this week is up in the air, but to be honest, it may not matter. Somerset is an overwhelming favorite here.
