What is your favorite lunchmeat/cold cut?

Probably Salami here.

 

How about you?

 

I made salami roll ups last week with jalapeños cream cheese. Went like hot cakes.

 

For me, I would say oven roasted turkey breast. On an occasional payday week, Honeybaked ham roasted turkey. Expensive, but soooo good!

Smoked peppered turkey. Used to like Old Fashion Loaf/ Dutch Loaf, but as I've gotten older it doesn't sit on the stomach very well these days.

I do like salami but I have never eaten it regularly. I would have to say my favorite is bologna followed by smoked turkey, though I haven't had any of these in at least five years.

I have a lot that I like. Roast beef with horseradish cheddar on an onion bun. I like tavern ham, Mostly on a grilled ham and cheese sandwich. Mesquite turkey is my other go to. But I also like fresh sliced pepperoni, to either eat as a snack or on homemade pizza. I like Hot capicola as well. One that I like but can’t find all the time out here is Lebanon Bologna. It’s a Pennsylvania Dutch meat, that is more like salami than bologna.

Seems like I’ve bought Lebanon bologna at Jungle Jim’s.

I’d guess they would have it there. Jungle Jim’s in Eastgate has a really nice selection of charcuterie style meats as well if you’re into that sort of thing. The Kroger in Independence has had Lebanon Bologna it in the past. I haven’t bought any recently so I’m not sure if they still do.

I honestly don't think I have a favorite. So many are good in different applications.

 

I will say sliced ham doesn't really do it for me though. I can eat country ham in moderation, but overall I'd say ham is my least favorite.

Smoked Turkey for me as well. I love a good Club sandwich too.

I've never had that one. I still eat olive loaf, though. Not my favorite, but I enjoy it every now and again.

Never tried Olive Loaf (not an olive fan on anything) but had plenty of Pickle Loaf as a kid. Same thing here on that, not my favorite but a good sandwich every now and then.
