We need those who will ultimately  make the decision to stand up and make a call pretty quickly.

The board approves option 1 by a vote of 16-2.

They did make a decision to stick with what they already decided but they also basically said it can change at anytime and Option 1 would be out the window.

They still need to get final approval by Sept. 7 on game guidelines. Such as attendance restrictions etc. 

Marlon Miller (Louisville) and Jerry Wyman (Louisville) are the only two who go ahead and vote against moving forward with Option 1, even after the remaining options have been voted down.

Correct.

Seems to me like the KHSAA has done what it needs to do, but the decision is ultimately not theirs to make.  But at least they did this.

And even if you don't like option 1, going with option 1 probably gives the best chance of actually getting a season of a decent length in. You can always delay if asked to. But you can't get time back once it's gone.

That is how I see it, the KHSAA says Option 1 it is, if a local school district doesn't want to participate that is their decision.  At least that is how I understand it.

Yes. But you still need to hear from the KDE and other powers that be, who could ultimately shut everything down.
