  1. Appears it's just a letter "advocating" for the decision to play sports to be left up to individual school districts.
  2. Agree, since it lines up with current "recommendations" for schools.
  3. You are correct. So looks like they are planning 7 game season still with a delay.
  4. Oct. 2: 6-week regular season opens; schedule all district games first, then non-district games Nov. 13: Playoffs start Dec. 11-13: State finals Lines up with @kyhighs tweet
  5. I see another delay coming at the least. Just going by the daily briefings last week and Big10/PAC12 being applauded for their actions. Tuesday will be another key day with JCPS vote. Don't see the DOE risking in-person classes for the sake of sports either. Their goal is to put kids back in class. Just my 2.
  6. With the new recommendations and schools going virtual until October/November in some areas. Just don't see them risking in-person for the sake of sports.
  7. Football is not looking promising with the delayed start.
  8. I don't get the fuss over the normal dead period. Think we will be lucky to start on the 10th anyway. I just need my Redhound fall football fix! Hope KHSAA will figure something out!
  9. I'm hearing KJ Kemper WR/DB is coming back across the river to play for Coach Edge at Apollo. I had the opportunity to coach him with Team KY 2023 for a few years and recently seen his interview on "Gifted on Gridiron". He will be one to keep an eye on, he started varsity as a Freshman. Loves to hit and kid runs great routes with excellent hands. He is already getting looks from a few IVY league schools according to interview.
