I am not going to patronize any businesses that require a mask so it makes no difference to me.

Absolutely.

I have talked to three different business owners and they all gave me a form of publicly we have to "look the part" but in reality we are not going to enforce anything.  

This kind of draconian stuff is NOT going to work.

I hope you’re wrong.  My recent experience in other states is that people and businesses will for the most part comply.  I am however sensing  things may be different here in Kentucky than the places I just visited.

Add a 4th business.  I just left Kroger and talked to two managers, in short if push comes to shove they are not going to enforce the mask rule.  And, I just talked to a bar owner friend and they are relying on another decision out of Kentucky yesterday and not going to enforce anything.  As far as I can see it is dead in the water in NKY before it even starts.

It's interesting living in Louisville and having visited both Lexington and NKY recently. In Louisville and Lexington both I saw the vast majority of people in public places and businesses wearing masks. In Northern Kentucky, it's the exact opposite.

Yep, NKY ain't having any of it. 

There is a better chance of us NOT having high school and college sports in 2020 than there is of us having them. For that reason alone, give the mask wearing a shot or don't complain when they are cancelled or postponed to next year. 

I will also add everyone, all you have to do is play the "health issue card" and no mask required.
