I will check in here on Feb 1 and let you know my thoughts. I never get too concerned about Cal's teams till then.

Cats down 5 points with 40 seconds to go, OSU dribbles 20 ticks off the clock and makes a wide open 3 pointer, so what kind of coaching is that? Did fouling ever enter the mind of Cal the Great? Coaching in game situations is and has always been terrible under Cal.

This loss in a vacuum wasn’t bad. It was the fact they lost Wednesday that made it bad.

Didn’t Utah lose by 30 yesterday? Good point.

Kentucky’s resume for the NCAA tournament is not going to look very good. Losses to Evansville and Utah. Utah lost yesterday by 30 to San Diego St and by 22 to Coastal Carolina.

Normally by this time of the year UK has had struggles but there’s still a glimmer of hope that they’ll turn it around by mid January into the tournament stretch. I don’t see that this year. They’re a very average team by Kentucky standards. Probably in the neighborhood of 8-10 losses.

Hope I’m wrong.

This years edition is just not a very UK team, no other way to spin it.

UK’s fate might ride on how good the SEC is this year.

Looked pretty average in non league games last week.

Usually at this time of year is not when UK has struggles. UK usually starts to struggle in January and mid January is when people start freaking out and saying crazy things. Then by end of February they see how crazy their comments were.

Keep in mind guys that college basketball as a whole is seeing teams take more losses than usual this year. UK will be in the tournament and probably a 4 or 5 seed at worst. Missing the tournament is just crazy talk.

Two straight over the Cats.

It’s just killing you no one took your bait on your 1st post :lol2:

Will Holtman will still be at OSU in 10 years when Cal retires?

He might be gone after this year, LOL.

Hopefully OSU gets back on track. If they keep going the way they are going, this is looking like a bad loss on UK's resume.

While it is not going good right now for OSU. They had a lot of good wins in non conference, so it will take a lot still to not make it. Plus plenty of opportunity to pick up some more good wins to their resume being in the Big 10. However, they certainly are not playing well at all right now.
