Congrats to Popham who was able to break the state record for # of FGs in a season tonight.

The biggest difference for CCH from midseason on has to be the o-line. All the credit goes to Haskamp who transcended these boys from a good line to a dominant line.

Is it me or was there a thread on BGP to start the year about how a lot of people were unhappy with the coach and wanted him out already? I thought they were the 2nd best team last year! Congrats to Cov Cath! BG just turns the ball over too much. It is what killed them the last two years on the carpet but hats off on making it back to back! That is tough to do!

Unless the LaSalle, St. X, Moe, or Elder job opens up, I think he will be the Colonel Pilot for awhile. I wouldn't mind 1 title every 2 years.

It sure sounded like it by the way the radio guys were going on. They said that if one of the big school jobs opened up that he would surely look into it or be crazy not to. And you couldn't blame him.
