Boyle County travels to Lawrenceburg on Friday to take on Amderson County.

Can the Bearcats pull off the major upset or will Boyle County add another running the clock victory to their wins this season?

Running clock.

Another running clock for Boyle in this one. The question will be if it’s first half or second half.

Boyle will win big in this one. Running clock in the 2nd half.

Not going to be able to make this game Friday night as I will be running in the Bourbon Chase.

Please all Boyle fans driving back home from Lawrenceburg after the game watch for runners on the road on HWY 127.

I would think that Boyle will put the score to a running clock half way through the second quarter and the Rebels keep rolling along.

You don't get the big trophy at the end of the year based on the number of running clocks you had during the year. This is nice for the fans to talk about, but I guarantee not one Boyle County coach is thinking about the running clock. They want to win every down of defense and offense. These kids are working and thinking the right way. They are very confident , but at the same time respect their opponents as they should. Anderson County is a good team that might have been over rated at the beginning of the season, with a chance to get some recognition against the number one team in their class. Don't expect them to just lay down without putting up a fight on their home field. I still pick our Rebels to win big.

Boyle will score early and often. 52-14, Rebels.

I agree. However, I still think it will be a 1st half running clock.

I do want to add that I think this team is super focused on one game at a time. Every game they seem locked in ready to go. It's never perfect but they get after it. They really want to prove themselves after the big let down to Corbin last season. This team is hungry!!!

I really like Mark Peach and think he's a good football coach. I also remember before the season started that many Rebel fans were thinking the Anderson game would be tougher than the Lex Cath game. Boy were we (me) wrong. Anderson is having a very disappointing season and, although they lost a good class, I don't think many saw this coming. Rebels will win much bigger than I thought before the season started. These last three weeks we need to keep everyone healthy and fine tune everything for the playoffs and I think they will do just that. Rebels BIG.

Anderson also lost a talented assistant coach.

Welcome to Bluegrass Preps With a Cause.

Anderson County has been a Jekyl and Hyde team this year with an up and down season. Don't forget they lost a major talent with the transfer of Charles Collins to Breathitt County. Anderson County is still dangerous but Boyle County is on a mission and has too many weapons this season.

Anderson also lost a talented assistant coach.

I think most folks you talk to that are close to the team, feel this right here is the reason for so much turmoil. They do still have some top talent, but probably not enough to keep up with Boyle.
