April 23, 20197 yr I wonder if somehow John ends up showing Danny that he’s who he says he is by not getting burned by fire, cause she didn’t seem to buy his story and that’d be the only way he proves it? Jon has been burnt before. When he saved the Lord Commander from an undead in Cattle Black he had to use fire, a lantern I believe. It burned his hands.
April 23, 20197 yr I forgot about that! After this season is over I intend to rewatch the entire series from start to finish. Also that one guy she stabbed in the eyes then slit his throat whipped her with a rod, I would have to think that would leave pretty bad scars.
April 23, 20197 yr Man I can’t wait for next week. I’m glad they’re getting to the battle now and not dragging it all season. I just said the exact same thing. I low key wish I hadn’t started GOT at all until the whole thing was over. Waiting a week for a new episode SUCKS!!!!!
April 23, 20197 yr Interesting comment on Jaime, but I think he will survive. That would make make sense for all we have seen about Arya in the teasers, along with her new weapon. That actually makes Akers a lot of sense about Dany. Remember Sam’s last words to Jon? (Paraphrasing) “You gave up your throne to save the your people. Would she do the same?” I think we lose Theon, Grey Worm and Ser Brienne. I think Theon lives and I think Grey Worm, Ser Brienne and Tormund all die. I hope I am wrong though. I’m still not mentally prepared to see folks I love die. :lol2:
April 23, 20197 yr Just because Danny is immune to fire doesn't mean Targaryens as a whole are. Her brother wasn’t.
April 23, 20197 yr I just said the exact same thing. I low key wish I hadn’t started GOT at all until the whole thing was over. Waiting a week for a new episode SUCKS!!!!! Usually each season I don't watch them until I have 4-5 in my DVR. I haven't done that this year because I knew I would hear about the episodes.
April 27, 20197 yr I might have missed a little with guessing that the Night King was previously the Mad King, but I'm convinced that he has Taergaryen in him. Highly unlikely, the war with the Children of the Forest was between them and the First Men. Targaryens being of Valaryia were not First men and weren't in Westeros at that point. They were still on Essos at his creation.
April 27, 20197 yr I’m not sure how else he could prove it beyond a doubt. I may be remembering wrong but didn’t some where along the lines, didn’t they say somewhere along the lines that the Targaryens only marry each other? The Targaryens followed the Valaryian custom of siblings marrying each other. They didn't always do it, but more often than not they did.
April 27, 20197 yr I just said the exact same thing. I low key wish I hadn’t started GOT at all until the whole thing was over. Waiting a week for a new episode SUCKS!!!!! I wish I hadn't started the books years ago, because I feel that pain many times over. GRRM is a jerk too, I honestly am planning on taking the ending of the series as canon because he will likely die before he finishes the bloody books.
April 28, 20197 yr So does the Night King die in this episode? Or is that to come later in the season? I tend to think he is killed in this episode...or *maybe* in the episode following, and the rest of the season revolves around Jon and Dany resolving their (obviously) dualing claims to the throne, as well as the fight to do in Cersei.
April 28, 20197 yr I’m guessing next episode but it could happen this episode. That would give two episodes to take Kings Landing and another to wrap up everything else.
April 29, 20197 yr Well that was intense. Edited April 30, 20197 yr by Colonels_Wear_Blue Rule #13 - Punctuation
April 29, 20197 yr Yes it was! Does tonight help back up the theory that little Mormont is Gaintbanes daughter?
April 29, 20197 yr That was the best episode of television I have ever seen. Maybe better than any move ever as well. Incredible job by the people that make this show. The actors/actresses, writers, everyone....wow.
