Game of Thrones: Season 8

We all agree that we're going to see a dragon versus dragons fight in S8E3, right? I mean, there's no way that the Night King doesn't show with his dragon. So what else is Winterfell supposed to use against that besides their two dragons?

I wonder if somehow John ends up showing Danny that he’s who he says he is by not getting burned by fire, cause she didn’t seem to buy his story and that’d be the only way he proves it?

That would be tight for real.

I’m not sure how else he could prove it beyond a doubt. I may be remembering wrong but didn’t some where along the lines, didn’t they say somewhere along the lines that the Targaryens only marry each other?

Can we talk about the timing of Jon telling Danny the truth about who he is? I'm not real sure I would have dropped that knowledge before the major battle. She was probably wanting some intimacy before the big day but I'm not sure. Feel like it might have been better to hold onto that info a little bit longer.

That was certainly his Stark blood coming out in him.

I know it was mentioned that they married their own relatives. They might of even said their own brothers and sisters.

I also kind of wondered whether or not the aunt/nephew relationship between Jon and Dany means they *have* to end their romance. I realize this is obviously a fantasized world, but in ancient and medieval times, it certainly wasn't too unordinary for cousins to marry, so I don't know that aunt/nephew would be that much of a stretch - especially if it has been established that House Targaryen has a history of marrying within its own house.

Guesses

- Jamie goes down. Bran's comment - “How do you know there is an afterwards?” to Jaime has some websites assuming the white walker's win. But what if the comment is directed at Jaime personally and not all the players collectively. May its only Jaime who has no 'afterwards'.

- Ayra gets the Knight King. She likes being the lone sniper role. She had that special weapon made for something.

- Dany becomes expendable. If she will not sit on the throne due to losing it to her nephew the story line opens up. She could get killed off or she may make some heroic sacrifice in a grand scene since her sole goal of life is now shattered.

I definitely like the Ayra getting that kill under her belt.

Man I can’t wait for next week. I’m glad they’re getting to the battle now and not dragging it all season.

In regards to Ayra’s....scene. Anyone know the story behind the scars on her side? I don’t recall anything over the years, or maybe it’s some foreshadowing?

A few seasons back one of the people who can disguise themselves stabbed her a few times disguised as an old woman.

Too bad all of that green fire stuff blew up when Cersi killed off the religious nuts. That stuff would have been very helpful.

Interesting comment on Jaime, but I think he will survive.

That would make make sense for all we have seen about Arya in the teasers, along with her new weapon.

That actually makes Akers a lot of sense about Dany. Remember Sam’s last words to Jon? (Paraphrasing) “You gave up your throne to save the your people. Would she do the same?”

I think we lose Theon, Grey Worm and Ser Brienne.

Isn’t that where the Waif stabbed her, multiple times?

I forgot about that! After this season is over I intend to rewatch the entire series from start to finish.
