Roundsteak Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 To tag along with the thread about where you’d like to see a game, list your 5 favorite places you have SEEN a high school game. My 5 are (not in any particular order): 1. Louisville Manual Stadium 2. Ft Thomas Highlands 3. Russellville 4. Mayfield 5. Belfry

ATLCat Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 Excluding Belfry for bias reasons: 1. Ashland- Just a special venue with the history, unique look, and all around vibe. 2. Highlands- The tradition of the stadium and I like how it is tightly fit behind the school. 3. Central- Just a very unique venue and atmosphere and a top shelf concession offering. 4. Manual Stadium- Love the history and the scale of the venue. 5. Russell- One of the best fanbases you will find in all of Kentucky and a cool venue. Notable: Pikeville Danville Somerset Beechwood Johnson Central For the record the most surprising/underrated stadium in KY may be Shelby Valley of all places. Top shelf facility with easy access, ample seating, and plenty of parking.
Guest Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 Bell Co - built into a mountainside Ludlow - Riverview Dayton - small old timey feel Highlands - school tight against field. Cov Cath - I liked the daytime games there best, but still pretty cool. Also Sheldon Clark - was kinda like Bell from my memory Holmes - old timey feel. I haven’t been to that many venues... Elder (Oh) is probably the coolest I’ve been to overall.
HT721 Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 1.Johnson Central- other than the sounds guy very great atmosphere 2. Corbin-parking is horrible or it would be 1 3. Middlesboro- the brick walls around the stadium create a very unique old school look and back in the day no one left there with a W. 4.Hazard- the walk up to the field will leave every opponent out of breath. 5.Wayne County- very underrated atmosphere.
Jumper_Dad Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 Not counting my favorite...The Briar Patch. Belfry Breathitt County Corbin Bell County Danville Hazard
FSWildcatFan34 Posted March 18, 2019 Posted March 18, 2019 Franklin-Simpson-Larger Stadium, Great atmosphere Russellville-Historical and the architectural features of the stadium Owensboro- Great stadium and fantastic atmosphere Warren East-Stadium itself is pretty generic, but its interesting to see a blue field
