Bengals are traveling to LA to interview a couple Rams coaches and Buccaneers OC has an interview.

The more I read about the Bucs OC Todd Monken. The more I want him to be the Bengals coach. Out of the guys they have asked to interview. He is my favorite.

Hope they continue to go slow and find the right guy, since it’s a 10-15 year job.

Yeah I was listening to that too. He stated he heard that if they weren't afraid of the backlash that would come with it, that they would have already hired him.

 

I think that shows when they brought Hue back at the end of the season. The succession plan was fully back in place, or at least that was the plan. However, they did so bad and only won the one game. It may have hopefully got them away from that idea.

I think there will be more like 30K show up but I pretty much agree with the rest of the sentiment.

Shoot fire, if nobody wants to come to Cincy Mikey boy may get his wish and hire Hue out of necessity. :ohbrother:

They are waiting to find a guy who will be willing to accept the OC and DC the Bengals want them to hire. Basically want a coach who will accept Hue as the OC and Joseph as the DC.

With Gregg Williams now available, he'd be my choice to lead the Bengals. Not sure he'd want that headache though.

You guys talking about the same Gregg Williams that hasn't mustered a .400 winning percentage in over 50 games as a HC in the NFL? That Gregg Williams?

And we're also talking about the same Bengals, who kept the same coach for 16 years even though his overall record was 131-122 and he never won a playoff game.
