Of the head coaching jobs currently available, where does everyone think the Bengals job ranks as far as being attractive to candidates?

 

I would rate the Browns and Packers as better. The rest seem pretty even with the Cardinals at the bottom.

Yes, if not the bottom, right next to it.

 

Average QB, aging (oft-injured) star WR, awful Oline, average secondary, average LBs.

 

Only bright spots are Mixon and Geno, and Atkins is getting up there in age.

Having another 4-5 great years from Aaron Rodgers would make Green Bay the top job. Cleveland is a close second with their overall roster and Baker potential.

Overall roster is why GB is behind Cleveland IMO. Plus, Aaron Rodgers is a notoriously difficult dude to be around.

The more I read about and see people talk about Eric Bienimey, the more I think he'd be a really good fit in Cincinnati. Might be the out of the box type coach that is needed to be successful with an owner like Mike Brown.

Biggest difference is those guys got to actually call the plays some of the seasons they were the OC for Reid. Bienimey has never called the plays even for a few games like those guys did. Plus those guys were successful in making the offense pretty good with Alex Smith. Bienimey came in at the right time, when they gave the reins to Mahomes. So it has worked out well for him because he has the title of OC, so a lot of people don't realize he actually isn't calling the plays. Plus at the end of the day the biggest reason the offense is as good as it is, is because of the QB they have. The Bengals don't have a QB who can do what he does.

 

I'm not against him getting it, and I definitely would prefer him over any of the coaches who coached with Marvin. However, for me I really like the Tampa Bay OC. Has some HC experience in college, and was a very good offense, and has NFL experience as a Coordinator.

Mike Brown couldn't be more of an "in the box" type, as will be his coach (ie: Next Yes Man). He'll probably go with one of his "family" like Hue or Joseph, and hopefully they play to a near empty stadium next year.
