Qryche11
Congrats Breds. This is a big win.....wonder if things would have been different with Bankemper back there in the backfield for the Beechies?

All Play No Work
Congrats Breds. This is a big win.....wonder if things would have been different with Bankemper back there in the backfield for the Beechies? Things were different for both teams. Bankemper's injury led to Beechewood spreading the ball around more. They only got 7 from their offense, but they moved the ball well and threw it pretty well. NCC used Vickars as a wide receiver most of the night due to a knee injury from last week that made cutting a little difficult. Burks had a good game running the ball and Vickars came up big as a receiver and as a runner in the second half. Just a really good high school game and appropriate that these two come down to the last play in the last playoff game between these two.
All Play No Work
Details: Beechwood's Kayatois returned opening kickoff 90 yards untouched for a TD. After that NCC had LB Pabst kickoff instead of field goal kicker Zink (who had a great game kicking field goals). That worked better. NCC scored on a long pass to wide receiver Vickars to tie it at 7. NCC driving when Harris didn't see Morton who jumped the route and scored on the INT return. 14-7 Beechwood. NCC drove for a 37 yard FG. 14-10. Beechwood nice 27 yard run by Amelung for a TD. Beechwood 21-10. NCC field goal 21-13. NCC field goal just before half 21-16. NCC scored big KO return by Vickars to the 50, pass to Wrobleski for about 30 yards for TD. NCC 23-21. NCC field goal 26-21. Beechwood four shots at endzone after TD called back. Huge, huge plays on both sides in the 4th quarter.

3ptshooter
Back to Back, Good luck, the Tigers will be cheering for you. I said it earlier in another post who ever wins this game will be in the finals, NCC will be in the finals. The called back TD will get reviewed over and over but will do no good except to send it to the state and make sure this crew does not get any playoff games again. It's a shame to think that crew is one of Lex best. Bad calls both ways. NCC outplayed us on both sides of the ball except the last 2 min. Player of the game, field goal kicker.
