4 games by less than a touchdown 1 game by 8 points and only one true blowout.

 

Certainly this is about as competitive as the KHSAA can hope for.

I thought it was an amazing weekend of Kentucky High School Football.

 

Definitely a finalist for best ever.

All of these games were pretty solid, even though FS-JC sent special teams back to the dark ages:lol2:.

Probably the best since they moved to 6 classes.

Best I’ve ever seen. Even the 6A wasn’t a total blow out.

What an incredible weekend for high school football in Kentucky. From top to bottom, this was the most competitive, exciting championship weekend in ages. Certainly the best one I can think of. Classes 1A-5A were decided by a combined 16 points.

 

Thank you to the players and coaches who laid it all on the line in the pursuit of greatness. It's a weekend that won't soon be forgotten.

Yep. It’s always worth it IMO, but definitely so when the games are this good.

Four great games for sure. Class 4A was closely contested but kinda sloppy so I'm hesitant to say it was "great". Class 6A was clear who was the better team but Scott County competed well. All in all a great weekend of football.

Yes, can’t remember this many close games in one year at any point. Very solid year for state championship football games.

With five of six games being one-score margins, yep. Don’t recall that ever happening.
