I've heard before that it was the first high school in the area so it was originally named "High School." Then once other high schools were formed it became Louisville Male High School but they just kept the "H" for tradition.

Can someone explain the H to me? I saw the H flag on the stream then the ring, I’m confused.

 

I looked that up after I saw the ring picture.

Frakes calls him Superman but Garrett Dennis is one of the best high school football players I’ve seen and the leader of a special group of seniors. They fought through injury after injury to accomplish their goal.

Dennis is one tough hombre. That was one heck of a performance.

 

He's done it for 3 straight games now.....against X, Trinity and now SC. I bet he's carried the ball over 100 times in that stretch.

Side note: It pleases me to see Jim McKee humbled. Excellent coach, but his comments irk me.

Congratulations to Coach Chris Wolfe & Male HS. Outstanding. They had a tough road and got it done against very good football teams!

 

Also, congratulations to my good friend and talented coach, Jim McKee. Great job to rally his team after two very tough losses and get to the state finals and have a chance to win. One of the finest coaching jobs over the long haul in this state has been what Jim has done at Scott County HS. He is also usually worth a good quote or two after a ballgame. He says what he thinks. Go Cards!

This group of Male seniors went undefeated as Freshman so no surprise this group of seniors won the Championship.

I just saw where he is 160 lbs. I thought he was under 200 and around 180 but 160! That cat can take a pounding at that size. Scott Co was trying to break him in half (which I’m sure just about everyone tries). Male basically lined up and ran the single wing.

 

Is that what Male’s offense has looked like all year?
