November 10, 200619 yr I only counted the games against Louisville and SEC teams. If you take the Louisville, Florida, South Carolina, LSU, and Georgia games he still averages 217 yards with 7 touchdowns and 4 interceptions. Brohm's best 5 opponents have been Kentucky, Miami, Cincinnati, West Virginia, and Rutgers. Against those teams he averaged 255 yards with 5 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. I would give Brohm a little bit of an edge because he threw fewer picks and had a higher completion percentage but there is not a glaring difference. I'm not saying that Woodson is a better quarterback, just that Brohm is far from being a GREAT quarterback. He and Louisville are very good, just not great.He also didn't get a whole game agaisnt Miami and was coming back from a torn thumb against Cincy.
November 10, 200619 yr Before you bash Central Michigan too much remember that they are 6-3, played BC to the wire and played Michigan a respectable game. As for the Louisville game he threw his 3 touchdowns in the 2nd and 3rd quarters, not in the 4th. Its funny how last night was not Brohm's fault but Woodson is A-Rod because UK lost to Louisville.Right, UK was right in the thick of things when Woodson threw his TDs... It doesn't have to be 4th quarter for the points to be garbage points. Certainly not when Louisville was up 31-0 before UK got on the board.:thumb:

His numbers are from the low end of the schedule. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/player/profile?playerId=146711 Against Florida, LSU, South Carolina and Georgia (a bad Georgia) he had 4 TD and 4 INT. Against Texas State, Mississippi, Mississippi State and Central Michigan, he had 13 TD and 3 Int. He's living on the fat of the land there. And if you're really proud of his stats against Louisville, all I can say is that you must love A-Rod... Brohm vs Temple, Syracuse, and UC: 2TD-3INT Real top notch competition there. :confused: Woodson also has 6 multiple TD games, whereas Brohm has... uhh... well... none. And thats with UofL's star running back out since game 1. Brohm is good, no doubt, but its REAL hard to say he's performed much better than Woodson this year.

November 10, 200619 yr No one got beat up more than Brian Brohm. Rutgers brought waves of pressure at the Louisville quarterback, hitting, harassing and hurrying him for most of the second half. Brohm was sacked five times, scrambled out of the pocket on several occasions and finished just 13 of 27 for 163 yards. "All the pressure started to bother Brian," U of L coach Bobby Petrino said. "I'm not sure he kept his eyes downfield like you need to. He wasn't seeing what was going on downfield."

November 10, 200619 yr 25-7 and over 200 yards in the first half and I liked the Cards chances. Give credit to the Knights staff for making changes. In the second half with the pressure on Brian I was wondering about a moving pocket, quick throw to the tight end, halfback pass, sideline screen, quick out to Mario. Knights D was very quick and look forward for the matchup with the Neers. Just thinking about Jeff screaming at Brian...Was it because the noise was so loud, maybe the OL coach would hear him and take notice, thats the way to get Brian to block better, he knew he was going to get it to later from BP. Man. I wonder what Oscar thought of Jeff? On the pick you could plainly see the tackle getting pushed into Brian as he released the ball. Hated the loss and feel for Brian and the whole team.
