All I'm getting are excuses that Woodson's touchdowns and stats are due to luck, poor competition and garbage. While the reason for Brohm's mediocre performances are due to rust. Look I've never said that Woodson is as good as Brohm just that they are comprable--do you think that they aren't? The numbers sure don't seem to back you up at all. Woodson has put up better numbers against comprable competition and while you can knock the fact that he got off to a bad start it is no worse than Brohm coming up small last night. It was really a great game to watch though. Now if WVU can just beat Rutgers, Northwestern upset Ohio State, and Ohio State beat Michigan perhaps we can end with about 15 one loss teams and cause the BCS computers to blow a gasket.

Anyone who talks him like that doesn't know the game. And for the record, it is A)Not the first time ESPN has shown Jeff in Brian's ear, and B)It happens every game. As someone who has watched every Louisville game in person or on television since Brohm stepped on campus, why don't you just take my word for it.:thumb: Brohm is a great QB, If I had any QB in college that I could Pick to lead my Team...... I never said that Woodson had bad luck--I was saying that his numbers are not due to luck or cleaning up against weak competition or during garbage time. The fact is he has great numbers and he has done it with a very mediocre offensive line and running game. Brohm has done less this year with a better supporting cast. You make it sound like Woodson is not even in the same league with Brohm. Brohm may have the better pedigree and may end up being better--he might even be better right now. The fact is that Woodson can play too and he'd do just fine in Louisville's offense just like the other quarterbacks I mentioned. It is a great system as a matter of fact there was little dropoff when Brohm went out. Brohm is good but so is Woodson and both of them have a long, long way to go to be considered great.
