So I infer from what your saying is that it doesn't matter WHO you lose to then? tO$U would have a loss from #1 UM, in a close game. USC would have lost to a 6-3, unranked, Oregon St. team. November 10, 200619 yr I'm better now. Just needed a few deep breaths, a few expletives, and a few laughs from "Arrested Development." I don't dwell on the losses like I used to. Good thing too, given how the Steelers' year has gone … Is AD on tv or do you have the DVD?
November 10, 200619 yr I told my dad tonight that I wouldn't be suprised to see Louisville get all they want and maybe even beat tonight. It's tough to win your biggest game ever then go on the road to a team that can pressure you. UofL flat out got punched in the mouth tonight! Rutgers out hustled them all night and they DOMINATED up front on both sides of the ball. I always wondered how Brohm would respond with a lot of pressure from a defense on him. He looked like Tim Couch did with the Browns. No line, no running game and WR's dropping balls. I am a big Brohm fan but it's nice to see UofL fans that dog Couch get a taste of what Tim Couch dealt with in Cleveland. I'd like to have seen the line of Rutgers winning the Big East at the start of the season. While I'm not a fan of the confrence, Rutgers sold me on their team. You make a really good point.

November 10, 200619 yr Funny thing is there has been very little talk of the game, more about the implications from here on out. I think more than a few of the UL diehards have called it a night after the tough loss(or are out drowning their sorrows). Thus, less posts about the game. I mean what is there really to say? RU outplayed UL in every facet in the 2nd half.

That doesn't matter? I think its more important to see who you've beaten. OSU would have beaten one team that is currently ranked. USC would have beaten teams that are currently 8,9,19, and 21. Drop Arkansas from the "good win" list and I'll still take my case over the OSU argument.
