USC would have beaten teams that are currently 8,9,19, and 21. Drop Arkansas from the "good win" list and I'll still take my case over the OSU argument. As I stated last year when UL and Miami were set to play, its easy to get up for one big game and win. But to beat(generally), quality teams week in and week out is much tougher. If you lose to, presumeably, the best team in the land by a point or if you lose to an unranked team by 2 doesn't make a difference? UM and tO$U haven't dropped the ball all year, like USC did.

However, if we narrow the argument down to 2 teams, USC and OSU, its a no-brainer to me based on earning it. I do agree that USC running the table is not quite a sure thing.

They show it every night at 11:30 (10:30 CT) on G4, and also at 2:30 in the afternoon. Great, great show, one I hope gets picked up by a cable network, but I don't think it's gonna happen.

November 10, 200619 yr If your counting Arkansas, then I'm counting Penn St. Not to mention it was the 1st game of the year, at USC no less. So I infer from what your saying is that it doesn't matter WHO you lose to then? tO$U would have a loss from #1 UM, in a close game. USC would have lost to a 6-3, unranked, Oregon St. team. That doesn't matter? Sorry, but that game was at Arkansas.
