November 10, 200619 yr I disagree. As I stated last year when UL and Miami were set to play, its easy to get up for one big game and win. But to beat(generally), quality teams week in and week out is much tougher. If you lose to, presumeably, the best team in the land by a point or if you lose to an unranked team by 2 doesn't make a difference? UM and tO$U haven't dropped the ball all year, like USC did. I completely agree with the "one big game is easy to win" theory. How many points would OSU have to lose by before you pick USC in our hypothesis?
November 10, 200619 yr I was beginning to think I was the only person that watches G4. I only watch it for that show. I've seen all the Man Show episodes and Star Trek episodes multiple times, and that would be the only other reason I would tune to that channel. Well, maybe Jamie Kennedy's show.

November 10, 200619 yr Wow, it took awhile to catch up reading this thread! Unfortunatley I said some rather harsh things about the Scarlet Knights this afternoon, so here it goes.. Frankly my dear, I don't care how you cook it. Any team that can basically shut down the UL offense for a half of football earns my respect. I still say they haven't beat anyone except UL, but they can only play the games on their schedule. Probably won't be enough to get them to the NC game, and I still think that their offense needs some work, but congrats to SUNJ for a well deserved victory. They could have easily hung their heads and quit down 25-7.

November 10, 200619 yr I can't believe this thing is 5 pages in an hour. I knew there would be a lot but not this many this soon. Imo the story in the game tonight was that UL was outplayed, out prepared and OUTCOACHED in this one. Rutgers wanted it more, plain and simple. Rutgers coaching staff made adjustments and kept Brohm confused most of the 2nd half and adjustments were made on their offensive side and Petrino did nothing to counter, he was flat outcoached.JMO. UL was dominated on the line of scrimmage on both sides imo. Besides in Jersey, I would say that there are multiple celebrations in Fla.,Auburn,Texas, N.D. tonight (along with a couple of others).
