November 11, 20187 yr What I have heard from those better connected than me is that Brohm would take the job if it opened. How Tyra comes up with Petrino buy out and Brohm buy out money will be interesting if this all transpires. For timing here are some tid-bits. Obviously the Cards are not bowl bound, so two more home games is all that is left. Purdue is 5-5 right now and has Wisconsin and Indiana left. Win one or both - they are bowl bound. Lose both, they are not bowl bound. If Purdue is not bowl bound, and even if they are, the announcement would likely come after the Indiana game if Brohm is going to take the job. Either this thing is ready with all the dominoes in place or else Tyra and UL just had to ensure fans know a change is coming to try to avoid an empty stadium one week and the embarrassment a solid blue stadium at the Governor's Cup. :popcorn:

Lorenzo Ward will be the interim coach for the final two games. So far, all I can see on the chopping block today are Bobby Petrino and the director of ops.
