November 12, 20187 yr If you are USC why would Brohm be at the top of you list? I just don't get the Brohm hype. He’s won at all of the inferior schools he’s been at. If he can win with future astronauts at Purdue, what can he do with top 5 recruiting classes at a USC?

Historically on the same level as Rutgers, Kansas, Oregon State, etc. comparing a coach at Purdue to a coach at UK is crazy. From 1997... Purdue 125-135 UK 107-147 Yeah, that's crazy. Go back further if you want, the story doesn't change.

He had a winning record his first season and you are choosing to ignore what he did at Western. Why don’t you and Woody tell us why a coach with a 42-21 record, is such a bad candidate for UL or USC?

I'm not ignoring what he did at Western, I just don't think that's much of an indicator....Taggart was successful at Western. He's now on the verge of being bounced after one season at his big boy job. Petrino was successful in his one season there. Brohm would be a fine hire at UofL. I just simply don't necessarily think it's a better job than Purdue, and I certainly think USC can do better than a coach who's 1 game over .500 in his P5 coaching career.

It’s about your potential to win. What’s your potential to win at Purdue. It’s in the middle of no where Indiana, you have strict admission standards which makes recruiting difficult, and it has little to no history of success. 1 10 win season in school history. The only thing comparable to UK is program success.
