Simple question. If you secretly hung a copy of your senior picture up today, say in your place of work, would people know it was you?

 

I thought about this because that very thing happened today. We have a lady turning 40 today, and people have hung photocopies of her senior picture up with "Look who's turning 40" and stuff like that on them. I had no clue who's picture it was until I put two and two together. The lady looks NOTHING today like she did in her senior picture. Have you changed enough where people wouldn't recognize you? I definitely don't look today exactly like I did in my senior picture, but I believe most people who know me would recognize the picture as being me.

Yup, I'm not sporting the Afro anymore and picked up one of two extra pounds (yeah right) but you could still tell it was me.

Interesting question. I weigh much less now, but I believe they would.

Yes. Despite having thick, dark hair in my high school picture, and a few pounds, I still look pretty much the same.

Probably. I’ve dropped a bunch of weight since then, but it was only 10 years ago.

Yes. My baby face hasn't changed. It's just expanded, along with the rest of me.

I looked almost identical to would-be assassin John W. Hinckley. My mother almost went into cardiac arrest when his picture flashed up on her TV screen in 1980. I've often wondered if, for just a split second, she thought I had done it.

Same. Jaw line is more rounded but not much else has changed.
