Enrollment doesn't make a difference in football? So your saying if I get to pick my team from 1600 kids I statistically don't have a better chance to succeed than If i pick from 300 kids? I find that really hard to believe. Whichever school your at that it doesn't bother do they play all 6A schools to prove this theory?

There are 1A teams that despite their small enrollment have 50 kids year after year on their team while their are 3A teams that are challenged to have have 30 on their rosters year after year. There are 6A schools with 100 on the roster and 6A schools with 40 on their roster year after year despite being the same enrollment size. In some schools a dip in enrollment can be a real blow while in others it really does not matter all that much.

No clue and I agree but when the man with the money and resources decides to build something then you just have wait and see.

 

I believe they have already begun the clearing and engineering process.

They do have practice field. Rumor is they are going to be changing things around but you know how rumors are. The work is suppose to start in the spring and heard they had two very large donations again just people talking so who knows.

I’ve seen the plans that were drawn up years ago when they did phase 1 of 3 phases. Lots of earth moving needed. Looked nice. Will the Bishop let the next phase be started? It better be very well funded in order to get the green light.

Does anyone have toe drawings so we can see? If I'm a coach this would be a factor into applying for the NewCath job. The Breds have a first class weight room and a first class multi purpose field actually on campus would help #s

More than enough material in this thread to start 10 more. Picking a head coach considering all of the innuendo stated will be difficult. IMO, an experienced coach might like the challenge. A less experienced will be blind of the challenges and get run out of town faster than Dan whom people on the hill knew more than 30 years. Whoever the next guy is it will be Ron’s guy, no pressure there. The parents are going to have to like it or leave it. My guess is we’ll find out the answer to that if the next coach passes the litmus test. Winter workouts are gearing up, you’d think there would be a decision soon.

As a “NewCath Boy” I am hugely embarrassed that Brossart will have their own place before we do. Much respect to Brossart in that aspect. NewCath people are very bragadocious about their team but we have to pay rent to have a “home game”. If I’m NewCath I’m telling the Bishop to shove it and figure it out on our own
