Heard the reason for the push for a new coach may have been over playing time or positions for a couple of coaches kids? Will the new coach have to resort to the assistants wishes or will there be another quarterback controversy next year?

Than Wags is so far off as well. Pretty much what he told me happened. 2 coaches with players in the team went to Ronnie. One actually said he was going to send his kid to Beechwood unless a change was made. What really upset Wags was how the whole thing went down. Discussed it with Ronnie on Monday and was given the ultimatum on Wednesday.

So if you have a source better than Wags please do share.

Some of the players when to Ronnie weeks before all of this to discuss the football program. They discuss what they thought needed to be looked at and firing Dan was not on the list.

I know one kid with a family as part of the program was going to be pulled to CovCath. The Hill isn't what it used to be.Very Sad!!

Like I always say, parents are the worst thing about high school sports.

What other names besides Terry Brown? I would think it would take a lot to get him to leave an amazing situation he has at CovCath.

Ive heard the names of 2 GCL assistant coaches showing interest as a stepping stone to get a GCL job when one opens up.

 

I dont see a public school coach leaving their current program to take the NCC job, nor do I think a public school Asst coach takes it either. Could be slim pickens when its all said and done.

That may have happened but that isn't why he isn't coming back. From a very good source that Ron had more phone calls from parents it was overwhelming. Also Ron saw for himself what was going on so it wasn't just the parents it just confirmed what they were all upset about.

Don't think Ron wants it to be a stepping stone, if that's the case and he feels it is he will not hire that person. Ron wants someone long term IMO.
