This is spot on^ As someone said in the Last day or so that a lot of people run in the same circles. So here it goes. The things I'm hearing are just Unbelievable. Imagine your company making decisions that are normally made by Adults. A decision was made to relieve an employee of their duty based on his body of work. Not attendance but body of work! That employee was then so beat up that his mommy or in this case better half decided to take matter into her own hands. Remember we are making Adult decisions here. The better half decided that they would get the family or in this case the team to write the employer letters of support on how this employee is a good employee and how he would never do anything to hurt the company. The employer listened. The employer listened to a bunch of family members or in this case, teenagers! Kids and parents that are okay with being mediocre because of the Love they have for their Coach. I admire that but in order for a Company's success in the real world that most of us live in, things sometimes change. I'm a BirdDaddy but not a DumbDaddy. The way the District handled this is right out of a made up Storybook. Because I only have 2nd hand Info on this I cannot comment just now on how the District handled policy on this one. If indeed it's anywhere near what I'm hearing, then I would have to believe some District positions will be opening up starting at the top working down the ladder in the near future. Just my Opinion there is more to come out of this. This isn't just going to be the Employee keeping his job.

 

And who was the Mafia in this whole shot-show?

I ask those that support the administration decision to Pls have the school board forward and make public for reading all of those support letters so it can be debated whether or not those players that did not write letters of support will be considered non-supporters and be penalized for believing differently.

 

If anyone on here believes BW got 100% support from his players then you are as ignorant as the AD and Superintendent when it comes to understanding Highlands Football.

 

This administration will be imo the guilty party for dividing this community and football team at the end of the day with the way they handled this sacred Football program.

 

I do blame BW for his lack of instruction not on the field as a coach but in the football classroom educating these kids on Highlands Football 101. He has failed the program miserably by overlooking the dcipline necessary and the many other small details which is the foundation for the rest of the process

 

Iam sick of hearing the threats “I’m transferring my boy if BW is back” or “we as Jr class will protest and boycott with a sit out next year if BW is fired”, and “I don’t have the talent”

 

Well, Let me remind any Highlands supporter, former or current Highlands player, coach or alumn.

 

This program is 100yrs Strong and Proud and nobody, even Dale Mueller himself is bigger than this program as a whole. Get over your crybaby selves and do something about your failures and underachievements these past 3 yrs and please quit playing the blame game.

 

When you put the Highlands uniform on, you are representing the school and yes the history and tradition. Don’t let mommy and daddy tell you “It’s ok honey” because it’s not. If you can’t handle the pressure of wearing the H on your helmet then don’t do it.

 

But pls for the sake of the program don’t make excuses, that’s the easy way out and it’s embarrassing

Are you comparing the Basketball program to the Football program? You are just funnin right...someone pls make it stop

Who is leaking info to the public regarding comments supposedly made by the coach? It has to be a limited number of people who knew what was said? School board? Principal?

 

I know for a fact that someone very very close to BW was offering up all kinds of information via texts phone calls and emails so perhaps it was self inflicted . I admire the support and passion for BW and the program from this individual so to suggest it could be school board or principal is silly. You didn’t name AD but who knows.

 

A very corrupt administration imo so could be anyone but all just speculation on everyone’s behalf.

 

And for me, the coaches comments are public just like the fire BW emails, right?

I know for a fact that someone very very close to BW was offering up all kinds of information via texts phone calls and emails so perhaps it was self inflicted . I admire the support and passion for BW and the program from this individual so to suggest it could be school board or principal is silly. You didn’t name AD but who knows.

 

So are you telling us it was the AD that leaked sensitive information, because I know you are dead wrong on this matter.

 

According to folks that are in the know the spilled information came from Coach Weinrichs wife. She didnt know it but she was the person leaking information because she thought she was doing the loving and honorably thing for her husband by calling anyone or anybody that would listen to the threatening letters and emails that her husband was receiving.

 

She acknowledged to other people that the Superintendent of Highlands Karen Cheser indeed emailed her husband with sensitive and private information lending Coach Weinrich the opportunity to defend himself and use that information to gain personal leverage throughout the community in a last ditch effort to salvage his job.

 

You may be correct about the corruption going on mainly with this matter but you had better get your facts straight.

 

As they say in this business, "keep your friends close but your enemies closer"

Spot on Sweeper....everyone take personal responsibility...coaches, players and parents....this program's success has been built on the internal machine, not the external noise....the noise has always been there, but for some reason, now, people are listening to the noise, instead of paying attention to the machine.

 

So get in the weight room, get you some 60 minutes and get back to the basics....all the way back to the basics....

Listen,’I was and still in favor of a regime change. But I guess it is what it is. But to say there were “threatening” emails. Child please!!! I just don’t believe that. Then again, I live in the hills so kinda out of touch over here lol!
