This is an email from Coach Weinrich circulating throughout Fort Thomas and BGP now:

I want to let everyone know what is going on.

I just got off the phone with Matt Haskamp. He just talked to the superintendent and they are going to retain us.

You have no idea the support we have gotten the last day and a half. I honestly think my phone is about to literally explode. My front door has been a revolving door with current and former players.

We have a tremendous responsibility, actually a wonderful opportunity to impact a lot guys in great way.

I am going to do everything I can to continue to improve in every aspect of being a leader and, oh yeah, beating Cov Cath.

Let's have a great banquet. I am completely exhausted.

For reference, here is a link to the other thread on the topic:

This is the right decision.

Well, there you have it!

Our prayers worked...#MHFGA

This entire ordeal has been handled very very very poorly no matter the outcome and I will leave it at that.

Great for kids

Well, there you have it!

What does the hashtag stand for?

I can not express how relieved I am to see this update. Highlands football and it's family (The Weinrich family) are most of the reason I still believe in this community and school. They are reason that there is still good in this program. Brian isn't concerned with your last or how good your dad was when he played. He is concerned about the boy standing in front of him and how he can help him become the best player and young man he can be. I am proud to say my son has been learning from him since he was a little boy.

Does this really mean anything? I mean they can change their minds between now and May 15th.

BW, take the Tates Creek Job, they deserve you, I'm not sure the people in FT do.

This is all so interesting to say the least. Good for the administration to negotiate an 11th hr deal with Coach Brian, nobody wants to see a great guy fired. Hopefully now that they have an agreement in writing, everyone will see some changes next yr that were promised this past yr that didn’t happen. They did get it all in writing right? There has to be an agreement...#MHFGA

MHFGA = Make Highlands Football Great Again

Crazy how fast this all happened. This went from BW stepping down to now a lifelong deal to players transferring. Crazy!

What happened to the mafia?

So 3&8 and 6&6, and not one person got fired. It would seem some kind of shake up would happen.
