Congratulations to the Juggernauts! Awesome win for them.

This is NewCath's first District loss since 2006, I believe. That is an incredible run. Congrats to Lloyd. Sheesh.

Hard to believe it's been that long, but agreed, incredible run. However, I miss the days when Newport Catholic played in the district with good Newport, Lloyd, Dayton, and Beechwood teams. Obviously not at the same time, but every year you knew they would be great games. Parity needs to return.

Still waiting on Eric Turner to take the job.. I guess really I should say, still waiting on Eric Turner to do the job.. but if I hold my breath on him doing the job I'll die... There is a reason he stopped called plays and they finally started scoring points..

Maybe he showed up to practice everyday this week but I doubt it.

Someone seems bitter. Is this thread about the players from Lloyd playing a great game tonight, or about an obvious personal beef with a coach ?

Lloyd dominated and Eric Turner did a great job leading the Juggs again tonight!!

Rule 2

What an unbelievable win for the Jugs!!!! I knew after the Beechwood game that this Lloyd team could win a lot of games but never imagined they would get the NCC monkey off of their back!!!!!! Congrats Lloyd !!!!!

Congrats to the young men of Lloyd. What a way to end the streak. I am surprised it didn’t end a year or two sooner with the talent that has came through. I applaud the head ball coach Eric Turner for setting his team up for success. I understand some much needed coaching changes were made and responsibilities were shifted. That is what a lot of people have been waiting for. With this years staff and any of the teams from the past 4 years, Lloyd would have been real contender for a regional championship and or a shot to play for a state title. Again congrats to the Juggs, Coach Turner and the Erlanger faithful a win to be truly proud of.

Lloyd has a new offensive coordinator and that is the story... Their last offensive coordinator was terrible, honestly the worst I've ever seen.. congrats Lloyd, the players won this game

Who is the OC I know they hired a SK coach not sure if he is the new OC.

The jugs coaching staff should be proud of the boys/team for executing the game plan they had to perfection.

NewCath coaching plan or lack of showed. The boys got several personal fouls called that cost them big yards and helped Lloyd with TD’s. The multiple changes at the QB position during the game caused issues just could not get in a rhythm. The NewCath boys just looked like they had no drive and really didn’t care. Lloyd’s defensive blitz just killed NewCath.

The multiple QB system didn’t work out? I think that might be a first. Typically the choppy rhythm of an offense eventually will throw the opposing defense off...............

Very surprised

Whats this saying about the Breds staff?

Newport Central Catholic likely has to go to Glasgow for a second round game. That's a long trip to play a quality opponent...

That's My boys it's about time we made a statement
