Never said they didn't practice, its what they do at practice. Can you honestly say that they had a good game plan because it was the same game plan they have had for every team they played this year. LLoyd's team is a little different than Holy Cross don't you think? So why wouldn't the game plan be different but it wasn't.

 

Have to love when people who aren't at practice or watching film with them. Assume that they know what a team was doing or game planned for. Or what they should have done different. When the simple reality of it is maybe just one team executed better than the other. Everything always looks great when it's executed well. When a play could look horrible though if its not executed. When in reality it could be just one guy not doing their job on a particular play that blows the whole thing up and make it look like a bad play.

LLoyd was the better team that night, not denying that. As far as knowing what practices are like and film well did you see the 4 or I think the 5 times they ran the same 2 point conversion and got it the first 4 times. That tells me a lot about preparation and not that someone was in the wrong spot because that was absolutely ridiculous.

You need to take your blinders off if you can't see it. It's a lot more that myself who sees it that way. This team is to talented to be getting blown out.

That's one thing we can both agree on... There has to be some changes in the 11 that's on the field that is absolutely the truth. Maybe I was misunderstanding you, but I'm sure the kids practice hard even though Friday night did not show that. There is way to much talent on that team that's not being utilized.

Hats off to No: 13 for Lloyd, the teams were late because of senior night and went to the locker room during the National Anthem, No: 13 stayed out by him self to surport the flag.

I agree the kids practice hard and do what they are told I just think the preparation isn't there and the 11 best players are not on the field. Example is why isn't Cain even though he does play QB some not involved in the offense along with Ezikia and Jefferson both great athletes. Kelly is one of the best players in NKY and IMO giving those others the opportunity to be involved so teams don't have to load up the box to stop Kelly will make him even more of a threat. Sorry just my 2 cents.

Kids are put into position for how well they perform in practice, it ends there. If they don't perform well, then they don't play. Someone's opinion of athletic talent is one thing, but if you can't be coached to do what the position coach wants done then someone else plays. If you're not at practice you simply don't know.

I know a lot more than you think and I will leave it at that. BTW the kids we are talking about start defense so they must be doing something at practice. All I am saying is there is a disconnect on this team and IMO it starts at the top.

Well then, if you're a coach, I wouldn't want you on my staff trying to undermine me on here. Secondly, if you are a coach maybe you should step up and state your opinion, lastly if you can coach then approach the top guy and ask him to get involved and coach.

Not a coach, and all I am saying is there is a problem and its not talent. I am not the only that feels this way and if you have been to the games and can honestly say that the best 11 aren't on the field then you aren't watching the same game I am along with 90% of the people in the stands and on the sidelines.
