Lloyd 46 Newport Central Catholic 14

Featured Replies

Newport Central Catholic likely has to go to Glasgow for a second round game. That's a long trip to play a quality opponent...

That would be a tough game on the road. I wouldn't want it.

Congratulations Juggernauts great game. Great defense. John Williams had a monster game at linebacker. Glad to see coach use him in the backfield with Travon Mason they make a nice one two punch.

It's been awhile. Congrats to the Juggs on a very nice win! :thumb:

Nice job Juggs!! When they played Beechwood the first game of the year I knew they had the talent to make some noise.. Congrats!!

Hats off to No: 13 for Lloyd, the teams were late because of senior night and went to the locker room during the National Anthem, No: 13 stayed out by him self to surport the flag.

My new favorite HS player, can we get his name?

Congrats to the Juggs, how far can they go in the playoffs?

Well NCC shocked everyone with a win over a very good CAL team earlier this year and Lloyd just put it on NCC so I think Lloyd can go as far as they want.. I Hope

Does anyone have any stats on this game? Or at least some highlights of what went down.

Tayvonne Coleman Ewell. Sophomore.

I find it comical that some would call out Eric Turner not even 10 minutes after the Juggs won last night on his short comings. It was our first victory over NCC in a quarter century. I think they should name a street after him. I grew up on Woodward, we could make it Turner Ave.

Easy Big Guy!!! Those are hallowed streets of Erlanger.

WOW!!! Congrats to the team with the best mascot name in the state! The 2A puzzle may have just added a piece. You know it's a good win when you get comments from fans of other 2A contenders - I see a couple from Mayfield to go along with this one.

Give the LLoyd's coaching staff and players all the credit they came ready to play and the were by far the better team Friday night. NewCath not being ready to play and the game play was horrible has everything to do with coaching. It makes me wonder what they do all week which seems like nothing.

I can tell you what they do, they practice like every other team does all week. You either come ready to play or u don't and Friday night NCC didn't. I've never seen you in here questioning what any other team does all week when NCC beats them.

Never said they didn't practice, its what they do at practice. Can you honestly say that they had a good game plan because it was the same game plan they have had for every team they played this year. LLoyd's team is a little different than Holy Cross don't you think? So why wouldn't the game plan be different but it wasn't.
