Two incidents in 20 years, from the same program, within the same 4 year period. Hardly a reason to dump him.

 

I'd agree except the second one is so egregious and intentional feeling. It's like the program is thumbing their nose at the NCAA...he should have put the fear of God into every person in that program including Pitino. The fact that they thought they could go right out and do this isn't a good reflection on the Athletic Department.

 

I don't think they will fire him, but I don't think it will hurt them one bit if they do.

I'd suggest googling him as there's quite a bit to him, but at one point he was considered the most powerful person in college basketball, and he has ties to John Calipari.

There is no chance Pitino survives this, it's just a matter of time. I'd say he's done within a week or two max.
