I was listening to game on the radio on my way home and couldn't believe this happend on the football field. He's lucky they didn't have him arrested after it happend or that one of the Dallas players didn't take matters in their on hands. I listened to the post game interview with him and he sounded very very sorry about it and didn't give any reason why he did it. WHAT, WERE YOU HIGH ON GRASS. How do yoiu not know what your doing? Stepping on a players head while he's on the ground. Did your STEROIDS follow you out of the locker room. I think he should pay BIG TIME for this. I don't care if they suspend him forever.

:scared: :scared: :scared:

He should be thrown in jail and suspended for the rest of the season at least.

It was a really bush move on his part. I would say I would have went after him an whooped his butt but that is one big dude.

He'll be facing some serious suspension time, IMO. And as has been suggested, he should face criminal charges as well. Players too often forget that just because it occurs in a game does not mean that the rules of the real world don't apply. If you assault someone in such a way like stepping on their head with 7 inch cleats, you should be held accountable.

He should be suspended for multiple games. Very poor judgement.

It was a malicious move, but a former player of the game I can understand. It does not show sportsmanship in any means, but in a time of frustration people are put over the limit. After an 0=4 start and losing this one that bad, he just clearly never THOUGHT! 7 inch cleats? I kind of doubt that, but anyway, the fine and the suspensions are very well deserved. Hopefully he will learn from it because he could be a force to be reckoned with. Good luck Titans on the rest of the year.

I just saw it on ESPN... Brutal.

Haynesworth was all man in his post game response. What he did was WAY wrong, but he was accountable for his actions...

5 games, $100,000 fine.

Most are saying 6 games and $25,000 fine. Since the NFL has a new guy at the helm, he'll ake an example of this guy. 6 games and a $50,000 fine. I wouldn't be suprised if he is gone for the saeson. His apology sounded sincere. I belive it was empty and a hoping job saving one.

I'll be shocked at anything over 4 games.
