My recent trip to New Orleans got me to thinking about this. I travel quite a bit for my job and have been to and seen some neat places/things that I probably would not have done otherwise. So, here are 5 things I have done/visited on trips that many people have done. They are fairly common things but are also pretty random, and I wonder who has done them all. I will try to rank them in what I think would be the order of what people have probably done, most to least.

1. Walked down Bourbon Street (New Orleans)

2. Shopped at/visited Pike Place Market (Seattle)

3. Been to/in the Tower of the Americas (San Antonio...think Space Needle)

4. Toured the USS Midway aircraft carrier floating museum (San Diego)

5. Visited the old NASA mission control center (Houston, we have a problem)

bonus:

Visited the WWI memorial and museum, Kansas City.

I guess I don't get out much; I've done none of those things.

I was on a roll as I had done the first 3. But then hit a wall as I have not done any of the rest. I used to travel 100% for my career around the country. I have been to 47 of the 50 states for work and visited many of the tourist attractions.

Same.

Just Pike Place Market for me.

My roll started, an ended, with Bourbon St. LOL

Only 2 for me. Pike Place Fish Market is pretty cool.

I travel a whole lot and have not been near these spots except for 1. . And for the record. I do not venture out much on the road, but have been to one and would maybe venture to one more on this list.

Done none. Was supposed to get a personal tour of mission control in Houston in 1986. But that day President Reagan was there for the memorial of the Challenger crew.
