And you watch how things roll out, there will be a lot more people claiming he should have been fired last year now that it is safe to go there.

 

That's a guarantee. Especially now that it is 24 hours later and folks have had time to absorb and dissect the information at hand to form an opinion. I expect to hear plenty saying he should have been fired last year with the occasional "once again, Trump did what Obama was scared to do" zinger thrown in as well.

I want to know more about Deputy Director Rosenstein allegedly wanting to resign over all of this. The press needs to drill that question until they get answers.

I'm sure your average conservative would consider it left leaning similar to the New York Times or like your average liberal would look at the Wall Street Journal as right leaning. Either way, they're all major national newspapers.

It is a huge transition but I have a hard time buying "circus."

Well I am not literally screaming. Not going to be able to change how I feel about it. Now the POTUS has the authority to do what he did. He should be able to appoint whom he wants. I am not saying he has done anything illegal in this instance. I could care less about Comey, it goes with the job. He has messed in things he shouldn't have since July.

 

That still doesn't mean I have to like it. Live with it, yes, like it and trust the POTUS, no.

When someone needs to be fired the correct time to do it is immediately.

 

And I actually think the timing looks right between Comey's latest disaster in front of Congress and with the new Deputy Director of the Justice Department passing judgment.

 

Furthermore, it is my opinion that anyone that complains about timing (and I am not saying you are Deuce) is just looking for a reason to complain because they don't have any real reason that they are able to articulate.

It is my opinion that anyone that can't at least acknowledge, whether they believe it's true or not, how the timing might look a little shady either has their head in the sand or will never find any fault in anything this administration does.

The way you presented it makes sense but the truth is deeper than dates.

 

Travelgate, as it was called, was the first Clinton scandal and it was very early in his first year. The reason given for the firings was misuse of funds for personal benefit. (Kind of like Sessions was accused of)

I don't trust President Trump at all. And I'm not liberal.

 

I think the firing was fishy due to timing. It just looks bad when you fire the guy overseeing the investigation into you IMO.

 

FWIW, I wouldn't have trusted a President Clinton either.

Geez people, let's get it right. There is no investigation of Presidrnt Trump and ties to Russia. It is a counter intelligence probe into Russia's possibly trying to influence the election.

 

Slam President Trump all you like but get the facts straight.
