April 1, 20179 yr U Conn beat Miss. St. by 60 last year. What an amazing story to turn that around in one year. Exactly, how fitting that the game went into OT tied at 60.
April 1, 20179 yr No shock here, it's an SEC team. Oh by the way, holy crap what an upset. Total shock. Can't overlook anyone at that point and have to play above your level if UCONN because every team is giving you their best shot.
April 1, 20179 yr Great game. I thought the flagrant foul was going to cost them but UConn turnover gave the Bulldogs the last shot and Williams came through. SEC championship game.
April 1, 20179 yr By the letter of the law, that was not a flagrant foul. The shorter player was trying to extend her hand to make a play on pass to Katie Lou. I've never seen a UConn team struggle so much in the clutch, MSU had so many chances and couldn't take advantage until the last minute.
April 1, 20179 yr Kudos to the referees for trying to extend the win streak. Another black eye on officiating.
April 1, 20179 yr Great game. Mississippi State's Morgan William hits a shot at the buzzer in OT for the win. That is awesome!!! I really respect the heck out of Gino and UCONN and what they've done but it's nice to see an upset like this. Congrats!!
April 1, 20179 yr Kudos to the referees for trying to extend the win streak. Another black eye on officiating. That crew should sent Thank You cards to Morgan William. It was a terrible call and I knew two minutes prior, just from the look on Geno's face it was going to be a flagrant 1. I'm so glad the ladies from Starksville didn't lose due to that terrible call. If it takes you that long to review, it probably isn't a correctable call.
