Please give some examples. I still get the Courier-Journal even as it descends into complete and utter irrelevance. I would love to have some objective online news sources to push me to cancel my newspaper subscription. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

And that is exactly the conclusion my kids and I have come to. They purposely go about some of their classes by embracing the Liberal Agenda to achieve better grades. And I think, but don't know, it breeds contempt.

 

All three of my kids consistently complained of liberalism being pushed on them by professors. One of them pushed back and still did fine. My middle daughter has some issues with professors because she was really informed and would not just sit and nod but would challenge them on certain trains of thought. But to your point, this is a issue thats needs to be addressed. The other two just went to class and said "Dad we are in trouble if this is who is teaching our kids". All three now have great jobs and are productive members of society.

I will say that Fox News has been really hammering Trump for some things lately.

 

But I never saw that other 5 networks hammer Obama.

 

Until the journalists start investigating and telling the truth of findings then no one will believe the media.

 

The 5 liberal networks has got to be a little pro Trump and admit a few things are good and they have to drop negative every single second and report on some good things by Trump.

 

Until that happens gen no one is going to listen to them because of all the slant and it might just get people working together.

In those cases the Education should be balanced and not consistently taught/presented from a Liberal way of thinking.

 

Perhaps we can do away with that whole "liberal arts" concept.

Who says we need to do anything? People have an option to choose where they go to college and they have an option to choose the classes they want to take.

Read through the majority of this and a little surprised that I didn't see social media mentioned at all. Seems like a lot of media is out there trying to have the next big sound bite or 3-5 minute segment that can quickly be posted on Facebook/Twitter/Instagram.

 

Then you have people sharing it like crazy without seeing the full segment or context, which is only causing us more problems.

I am not seeing where he or anyone said that.

 

I'm assuming what he wants, and what I want, are professors that don't bring their personal beliefs or bias into grading my paper. If I have given a very well thought out and well researched paper, I should be negatively graded because I was "too conservative" or vice versa. That's crap.

 

Thankfully, I didn't really feel that much while at NKU.

Look at the people on BGP who have no issue sharing links as fast as they find them, using them as justification for their opinion, and they never bothered to investigate the site/authors for legitimacy. WE do that. It is on US to share the right info.

When I was in college we were able to research about certain professors and that was in the 90s before social media. We knew who to avoid because of how they graded, the papers they made you write, attendance policy, etc. I'd imagine that researching professors is even easier to do now if a concern is having a teacher that crams liberalism down your throats is an issue.
