I couldn't agree more, just like the BLM movement; riots, looting etc.. when 90% of the cases ended up being found justified.

 

Great point. Everytime black people looted BLM was blamed even though to this day the actual organization of BLM has never been proven to have been involved. The media saw blacks, heard people screaming black lives matter, got it on video and then said here is BLM rioting and looting. Meanwhile in those same cities organized peaceful protests actually done by nationally known members of BLM were ignored.

I agree wholeheartedly. The media knows way more than what they report but at the same time if we knew the whole truth about everything there would be Anarchy. Where is the balance? The media reports the news and they skew that news with their commentary on it. Once people leave the commentary alone(never happen) then we may be able to just focus on the actual news.

 

For example, it has been reported that the Trump administration is under investigation for their ties to Russia and has been under investigation. However, the conversation is skewed by the media and it seems like the actual investigation is being swept under the rug when in fact that should be our only concern. Instead the conversation is about the media bashing Trump, Trump golfing, Fake news, healthcare, etc. Is anyone going to report on the actual investigation, if it is over, ongoing, what are they finding out, etc. To me that is the news I am interested in but the media has made the waters murky. Does anyone truly know what is going on with anything in today's society? Nevermind how corrupt our government has been for decades. Do we truly know what is going on? I don't think we do.

 

Or to add to your second paragraph, I thought "The Investigation" was about Left (Obama Administration) spying on the Right (Trump Campaign) and somehow that whole "Investigation" turned into Russian/Trump Collusion.

Unless things have changed you don't have to take classes in college that will likely preach a liberal agenda. You have your core requirements the first two years which are your basic math, science and reading courses along with psychology and sociology. Other than that you can pick whatever courses you want. I don't see how a liberal agenda is forced on anyone in college when you basically choose your own courses.

We can all stop pretending that media is supposed to be unbiased. It was a weird invention in the late 20th Century, mostly due to media consolidation buying up newspapers, radio, and TV stations in any one city and then trying to foist one single source as somehow the only necessary place to go for news.

It would be nice if all schools could just educate, and if any students want to get involved in left/right agenda opinion schooling so be it, but it should be a choice.

The world is changing fast, you can get most of your core requirements while you are in high school (my daughter did it) and then jump right to advanced classes.

 

I don't want to dwell on the college part, other than colleges are a part of the problem and I have consistent conversations with my children currently in college about Liberal hurdles they have to overcome with too many of their Professors.
