That's why I love when the offense doesn't call a timeout.

Nice play by UNC and unfortunate for UK and us fans. What gets lost in this is what an unbelievable shot Monk made yo tie it. He had no business making that, two guys in his face and if the ball is just an inch more right or left it's blocked. The play that hurt the most was Jackson break away layup after we cut it to one with 40 seconds left.

March 27, 20179 yr Anyone not thinking UNC would win is fooling themselves. They were the better team talent wise coming into today. It does blow to lose that way but we are lucky it was that close. Bam was Bam, Fox, and Monk were non existent for 90% of the game. Humpfries kept up Bams end of the deal. I feel the game was officiated way to tight on both sides. When both teams are in a double bonus with 8minutes in the first half There is an issue. UNC earned the win for sure. Go GAMECOCKS!!!!

March 27, 20179 yr If today proved anything, Gabriel will we back in Blue & White. I watch a lot of UK games, and I'm not sure the ratio of his name being called by the announcers is high enough to where that's a good thing. Why'd he get the PT he did, anyway?
March 27, 20179 yr You have to give UNC credit, they hit 3 straight very difficult shots after UK took the lead to snatch the momentum from the Cats. I have admiration for the fight UK showed, but Carolina is probably just a little better team than the Cats.
