Only reason UK beat UNC is Monk scored 47 that day. Other than that the defense sucked that day, and no flow on offense. You keep thinking they were better at the beginning of the year, and you will be wrong. This team is better in every area from the beginning of the year. Monk scored 47 points and it still took a last second shot to win that day. If Monk puts up 47 now on someone it wouldn't even be close no matter who they are playing.
March 18, 20179 yr Very happy that the Norse hung with them, no one thought it would happen. For their first ever Division I tournament game, nothing to be ashamed of. On another note, UK can't afford to do this Sunday against Wichita or they may be done.
March 18, 20179 yr If Malik doesn't get his crap together so help me God... He doesn't look confident in his shot all of a sudden. He had a few opens threes tonight he even passed up. Hopefully that confidence comes back.
